* All small dog haircuts “ start at” $65 + tax
* Full size Doodle haircuts start at $115 + tax
* Giant double coated breeds such as Newfoundland’s & Great Pyrenees start at $120 + tax
Our grooming prices are based on dogs on a routine grooming schedule of 8 weeks or less. A longer length in between appointments will result in a higher cost.

If you are looking to have either of these specialty grooming services done to your pet, please make sure to request Stephanie at the appointment time.
Hand Stripping
Hand stripping is done to wire coated breeds, mostly terriers. In this process the dead hair is plucked out by hand. By doing this the coat will retain the coarse texture and superb color. When you clipper a wire coat it will turn soft and the color will change or lighten. Hand stripping maintains the dignity of the coat, and is why your dog looks nothing like the show dogs on T.V.
If your dog has previously been clipped with a clipper it is not a candidate for hand stripping. Dogs receiving this service must be groomed on a regular basis, and once or twice a year clients will not be accepted.
This specialty service takes longer than a normal grooming and is charged by the hour, and includes the bath, dry and nails. Stephanie is the only groomer within a 40 mile radius that offers this service.

Hand Scissoring
The art of hand scissoring is best achieved on curly coated breeds such as Poodles, Bichons, and Doodles to name a few. It takes extra time and effort to completely wash, dry and fluff the coat straight to achieve a perfect finish. The dogs pattern lines will be set in with a clipper, and then completely scissored by hand over top leaving a flawless finish. It is a competition level groom that’s head turning.
Dogs receiving this specialty service must be on a routine grooming schedule with a well maintained coat. Matted or knotted coats are not acceptable. This service is charged by the hour, and includes the bath, dry and nails.
